The prestigious Presidential Host program provides the opportunity for students to work in various venues where they are able to connect and engage with University leaders, alumni and invited community guests. These student hosts reflect and represent the rich diversity of the Brown student experience.
The Presidential Host is an important role that requires commitment, enthusiasm, energy, poise and time. The work involves greeting attendees at lectures, receptions, dinners and award ceremonies. Assisting with event logistics is another part of the role. As representatives of the student body, Presidential Hosts give visitors a sense of Brown's student culture, and are often the first and last contact visitors or community members have with the University.
Applications for Spring 2024 Presidential Hosts will open in November.
